At the core of the +SocialGood community are its Connectors. These thought leaders provide critical voices and perspectives from around the world. They work together to use their local and regional influence to support the work of the United Nations. Whether through direct impact projects, events, or communication efforts, the Connectors are dedicated to forwarding local progress on the Sustainable Development Goals.
Whether direct impact projects that offer meaningful solutions for the Global Goals, gatherings of new leaders who can progress the issues, or generating awareness in new spaces for this critical agenda, Connectors are passionate about advancing this work.
The +SocialGood Connector program is a two-year commitment that will connect you to the work of the United Nations, the United Nations Foundation, and the SDG progress worldwide.
Connectors are proven global citizens who are working on social good issues. Past Connectors have led social entrepreneur incubators, built groups dedicated to local grassroots action, led socially conscious media companies, and more. Each Connector commits to join monthly community calls, host at least one on-the-ground event a year, write 12 blog posts for +SocialGood, participate in 5 United Nations Foundation digital events, and do 2 social media takeovers.
At the end of the two-year program, Connectors are given the opportunity to become +SocialGood Advisors. Advisors continue to support the +SocialGood movement, serve as mentors to the Connectors, and commit to promoting messages around UN Foundation and United Nations priorities to their communities.
