Connectors and Advisors make up +SocialGood. They are leaders with proven track records of tackling pressing challenges in their communities and fields through collaboration and innovation. They use their convening power and local and regional influence to create global change, with support from the United Nations Foundation.

+SocialGood Connectors are local influencers with global potential that are chosen every two years to serve as ambassadors for the +SocialGood community. They are proven thought leaders in their communities who are working on social good issues.

Advisors are Connectors emeritus who have graduated from the program and continue their engagement as mentors. They serve as mentors and thought leaders within the community, continuing to connect ideas, opportunities, and individuals.

We are globally connected but locally rooted. Our grassroots movement in local communities around the world helps translate initiatives around the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into targets that are relevant and meaningful.

 

Community Code of Conduct

The +SocialGood community welcomes changemakers to convene and work within their local communities to bring together people for action on the Sustainable Development Goals. As part of the community, changemakers agree to a code of conduct below.

Water Shortages in MENA

According to +SocialGood Advisor, Ruba Al-Zu'bi, "Water has been– and will continue to be – a key shaper of life on earth. It is a major driver for the rise, dismantle, and displacement of civilizations. History has shown that water could be a cause of peace and conflict among nations."
