Hosted by United Nations Foundation and the Brookings Institution. This event will showcase local leadership, actions, and commitments from diverse communities across the country to drive a recovery that advances equity and sustainability in the United States and beyond. We expect the first Voluntary University Review (Carnegie Mellon University) and the first state-wide review (Hawai’i) of the SDGs to be launched at this event. We will also hear how community leaders, youth activists, businesses, universities, and foundations are using the SDGs to advance equity, inclusion, and environmental action in the United States, providing the basis for U.S. credibility and leadership abroad on the defining issues of our day.
